What started as an idea on a restaurant napkin in 2001, Total Polish Solutions, Inc. (TPS) has evolved into the preferred provider of polished concrete surfacing solutions. Thanks to the dedication, courage, and commitment of our three founding partners TPS continues its mission to be the national market share leader in providing beautiful, low maintenance, innovative polished concrete surfaces. Together our founders have over 30 years of Fortune 500 experience and 18 years of practice in the polished concrete industry.

Lisa Thomas | Chief Executive Officer

Lisa’s career in automotive and pharmaceutical industry has ranged from leading purchasing, strategic planning, and production control functions to managing supplier development and diversity. Lisa excelled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky and Toyota Motor Manufacturing, North America headquarters establishing strategic planning and supplier development programs. At Pfizer, Inc. Lisa advanced and promoted award winning supplier development programs. Lisa’s expertise and knowledge enable TPS to train and develop a sustainable organization. Lisa is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with degrees in Business Administration; Logistics & Transportation and Finance. She enjoys yoga, fine red wine, and competing with her dog, Lizzie in agility trials. And yes Lizzie comes to work with her everyday.

Stan Thomas | President

Stan’s career in industrial, food, and retail industry has ranged from leading human resources to supply chain and strategic planning. Stan advanced through the leadership development program at Rockwell International establishing human resource, marketing, sales, transportation, and distribution programs. At SMG and then Rowe, Stan established a supply chain management group and implemented the SCOR supply chain methodology reducing costs, improving delivery, and customer satisfaction. Stan is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Business Administration; Logistics & Transportation. He enjoys college sports, especially the Vols, travel, and boating on Norris Lake.

Shane Sexton | Vice President, Operations

Shane’s career in food, industrial, and distribution has ranged from managing purchasing and production to business unit management. At Viscase Shane was responsible for purchasing which continued at ICG/Holliston where he also excelled in production control management and materials management. In 2000 Shane joined VIC International focusing on supply chain management. Shane was instrumental in the emergence of dry diamond grinding and polishing products and services at VIC International. Shane’s expertise in polished concrete research, design, and implementation enables TPS to deliver quality polished concrete surfacing solutions. Shane is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Business Administration; Logistics & Transportation and is also a Certified Purchasing Manager. He enjoys the great outdoors whether on a side x side SUV at Brimstone Recreation or boating on Norris Lake.
